Why should you join HDRG?
 

As a member of APRA you automatically become a member of HDRG if you are in the heavy duty business. The value of belonging to a trade association that can help foster your efforts to market your product and manage your business and represent you in Washington, D.C. as a member of the remanufacturing industry. HDRG will conduct activities and services to aid you in the pursuit of the commercial vehicle business in your trading area.

Division Meetings and Tech Sessions for the component group for whom you reman. These sessions will provide you and your employees with up to date tech information and market knowledge regarding your specific component area.
 

  • Recognition at the Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week as a member of HDRG which is one of the associations sponsoring the event. Special sessions during HDAW to network with other remanufacturers and to showcase the remanufacturing industry.

Representing your remanufacturing interests with legislators and regulators

HDRG through APRA represents remanufacturers before governmental, legislative and regulatory bodies through its offices just outside Washington, D.C.

Some issues covered by HDRG/APRA include:

  • Efforts to eliminate all tariffs on remanufactured products and cores exported from the USA
  • Finally solving the “core valuation issue” with the IRS so cores are valued at market price and not “core charge.”
