German VDI Center publishes new study on future of Reman Market

German VDI* Center for Resource Efficiency publishes new study on resource efficiency through remanufacturing
 
Commissioned by German Federal Ministry for Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, the study confirms Remanufacturing as a future market and the highest form of Recycling.
In particular, the authors conclude the following:

1.  Remanufacturing of products holds an enormous potential for resource efficiency.
2.  Until 2030 a market growth of more than 50% is expected.
